CAVN
Self-Contained Retractable Nozzle Vacuum Sealer with Gas Purge
Foot pedal–activated gas-flush vacuum packaging with no external air required. The CAVN expands the AVN with an internal 2 CFM compressor — completely self-contained and ready to perform out of the box.
The CAVN exists to answer one objection: "we don’t have shop air." With the compressor built into the cabinet, the CAVN needs nothing but a wall outlet (and a gas bottle, if you’re flushing). That makes placement flexible — labs, retail back rooms, mobile operations, or anywhere running an air line isn’t practical.
Sealing capability matches the AVN: the 1/4-inch-wide element delivers a leak-proof seal on any kind and thickness of flexible bag, including clear poly, foil (Mylar), mil-spec, and ESD bags. Same safety interlock, same clean wrinkle-free seals without bag distortion.
Hand-assembled in San Diego, California, with the same components used across the AmeriVacS line.
Where the CAVN earns its keep
- Facilities without compressed air on site
- Mobile or multi-location sealing stations
- Labs and clean spaces where a shop compressor isn’t welcome

Questions buyers actually ask
CAVN vs AVN — what’s the real difference?
Sealing performance is the same. The CAVN adds an internal 2 CFM compressor so you don’t need shop air; the AVN relies on your facility’s compressed-air supply. If you already have air plumbed, the AVN is the simpler buy. If you don’t, the CAVN saves you buying and housing a separate compressor.
Is the internal compressor loud?
It’s a small 2 CFM unit sized for the sealer — far quieter than a shop compressor. For exact dB figures for your environment, request the current spec sheet through the quote form or by phone.
