Safety features that also protect your seals

The jaws must meet before the impulse fires

On every model — AVN, AVS, CAVN, CAVS, AVP, and the AVC chamber line — the machine will not fire an impulse until the upper and lower jaws have completely met. No partial-closure firing, no hot element exposed on an open jaw.

The same interlock that protects the operator protects the seal: an impulse fired at full, even jaw pressure is what produces the clean, wrinkle-free, leak-proof seal these machines are known for. Safety and seal integrity are the same mechanism.

Hands-free by design

The vacuum models are foot pedal–activated, which keeps both of the operator’s hands on the package — positioning it, smoothing it, keeping fingers well clear of the seal area when the jaws cycle.

Built like equipment, not appliances

Powder-coated steel chassis, professional-grade components, and hand assembly at the AmeriVacS facility in San Diego. The manufacturer backs the line with a 2-year limited warranty against electrical and mechanical defects (normal wear items like heating elements, Teflon, and seal gaskets excluded).
